Thanksgiving in Sicily
We have lived overseas for almost 5 years now. Our first two Thanksgivings were spent in Turkey. The second two were in the Azores. And this year, we are in Sicily. We are actually celebrating Thanksgiving a day late, due to our busy travel schedules. Yesterday we spent the day touring Taormina, a lovely little town here in Sicily. The weather was gorgeous, which was a nice change from the cold & dreary weather we've had in Germany lately. The town was small and quaint, and there were very few tourists there since it's the off-season. It was the perfect way to spend our Thanksgiving day overseas.
