Rodenbach culinary walk

This past weekend there was a culinary walk going on in a town nearby.  4 miles of eating, drinking wine and enjoying beautiful scenery - doesn't get much better than that!  Bonnie enjoyed it thoroughly, especially when she got to eat some of our food.  Dogs are so welcomed everywhere in Germany, and this event was especially dog-friendly.  Some of the tents even had "dog stations" with water bowls.

The weather report called for rain, and we almost considered not going... but I'm glad we did because it was such a fun event.  As they say here in Germany, "There's no bad weather, only bad clothes."  I wore a rain jacket and wellies, and I was fine.  You can't let weather stop you here in Europe, or you'd never see anything.  The weather can be so unpredictable.  We actually lucked out and had good weather for most of our hike; it only started raining towards the end.  Overall, a fun (and slightly wet) day!
